The one lesson I’ve learned when trying to attract someone seems like a bit of common sense our mother’s tell us when we’re young; clothing makes an important impression. In todays single world, that important lesson seems to get thrown out of the window. Last week I hinted at this topic but wanted to spend a bit more time defining how men view women and some lessons I’ve learned about dressing as a guy. Let’s begin by recognizing one universal truth, not all clothing is appropriate for all events. When on the hunt in Bars and Clubs in an attempt to attract some attention, shouldn’t be the clothing worn should on a first date (there are exceptions to this rule). Rarely, wearing cardigans at a bar will attract someone the same way flaunting your cleavage on the first date will secure a second date.

Until personality becomes a physical trait, men are going to look at a woman’s physique and clothing first. Use this to your advantage, while at the bar/club, feature your best physical assets, including the big three – breasts, butt, legs. If you have big boobs, wear something low cut, but not slutty, if you have a bit butt, something tight and flirty, if you have nice legs, a short skirt would apply. If you don’t have any of these things, try a combination, short skirt with a tight and flirty outfit usually does the trick. The general rule of thumb is wear what your comfortable with. Most of it should be flirtatious, don’t go out naked but tease us men a bit.

Clothing, for us guys, is a complicated, we really have to choose clothing that represents a part of our personality and exaggerate. This idea stems from the theory of Peacocking, or when men dress to get attention. Fans of The Pickup Artist and readers of The Game should be familiar with this term. Peacocking is merely dressing to stand out, bright colors, interesting hands, accessories all do the trick. The most important aspect of Peacocking, I’ve found, is to ensure it reflects your personality. Don’t go overboard, too many accessories and colors that won’t match will make you look silly. Any regular outfit can be dramatically different with the appropriate hat, watch/wrist, and neck accessory. If you go overboard, you’ll get a lot of attention, and snickering behind your back.
