Remember when you were a kid, and your parents got you clothing for the holidays? It was that disappointed, “oh no, clothing” feeling. Now, older, I’m thrilled to get a pair of nice comfortable underwear from someone that I’m dated. Yes, I’m being very serious, although it shouldn’t be the only gift. When I was asked to review the Pistol Pete Slate Trunk as a male holiday gift, by MensUnderwareStore, I thought it would be a great companion to the Diesel Brandon Sweatshirt. About a month ago, I was given the opportunity to try out Michel Germain’s Séxüal Sugar Daddy fragrance. Michel Germain claims that this fragrance guarantees Hugs & Kisses, or your money will be refunded. I was skeptical, but, if the product guarantee was true I would need a large stick to fend off the horde of women; that was a risk I was willing to take. Over the last month I’ve experimented with the fragrance by including it in my daily routine. I alternated wearing the fragrance during my day to day activities and events. Wingman University Aims To Teach You How To Date Better

My good friend, and dating coach, Thomas Edwards was one of the reasons I was able to find recent dating success. As a guy, he was able to put everything I was being taught into prospective and helped me gain the confidence to succeed in dating situations. Thomas is a great dating coach, his techniques enabled me to remain as myself, I didn’t have to change who I was to approach a woman. While I highly recommend his services as The Professional Wingman, he recently introduced a three-day dating seminar aimed at helping men with women, called Wingman University. Dating Your Opposite Thru Opposites Connect

A week ago, I had the opportunity to interview Larry Wilson, the founder of Opposites Connect, a new online dating website with a very different approach to dating; finding your opposites. To many, the idea may seem counter intuitive, why would you seek the opposite of what you want? If you like cats, why would you search for someone who likes dogs? If your a Yankees fan, why would you ever data a Red Sox fan? The answer, it brings upon interesting conversation.

Larry referenced a recent post (Determine What You Can Handle While Dating), to help explain the concept. “Dating is built on conflict resolution,” he suggested, and further explained several problems with current dating websites. When you go on a date, conversation becomes a repetition of what is already known, and doesn’t lead to real conversation. New Dating Websites Ask Different Dating Questions

Online dating is a very huge business. For many years, the process has been simple: create a profile, include a picture, pick people you like, go on a date. While the model has worked well for years, and has been upgraded with personality tests and compatibility factors, it’s very limited. There’s a claim that 1 in 5 singles are in a committed relationship with someone they met on a dating website, but this doesn’t make online dating any less frustrating and fruitless than it is. To help alleviate this frustration, websites began to focus on niche communities, such as JDate, but they follow in the same mold.

In both cases, there are success, and frustrations. I don’t believe online dating is as successful as advertise. I think the problem is, they focus on the who: who are you looking for, who is compatible with you, who fits you. Review of the OkCupid App

Last week, I was been unable to keep up with my online dating life. My laptop was on the fritz and had to be sent to an Apple repair center in Tennessee. To keep up with my online life, I decided to grab myself an iPod Touch and use it for my e-mail, Twitter, and dating life. It gave me a moment to try out the new OkCupid App. While my success with OkCupid hasn’t been stellar, I wanted to keep up with potential dates, mark profiles for further review, and answer any incoming messages I received.

The OkCupid App, is free and available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s a cool app that keeps you up to date on your OkCupid dating world and works much like the website. It allows you to keep up with your current matches and Quivers, find new matches, favorite and rate profiles, and send and receive messages. Essentially it is OkCupid on the go. Like fashion, dating trends tend to emerge over time such as interracial dating, cougars, and dating effeminate men. Many websites offer tips and tricks to these trends, but rarely do we get to hear a guy and girls side to the same topic.
