Have A Very, Merry, Christmas & Holiday!

Elegantly Decorated and Lit Christmas Tree

I wanted to take a brief moment, and wish you all a very merry, Christmas. I hope you’re spending your time with someone you love, care, appreciate, have concern for, or buying their next drink. Regardless of whom you’re sharing the holiday time with, and where, I hope you appreciate and enjoy the time, and those you are with.

I’m going to do just that, see you on Tuesday :-)

An Old School Approach: This Stuff Works!

A Couple Ice Skating in Bryant Park

This guest post of some recent dating sucess was written by my dear friend, Kerri Kilbourne.

Rather than playing the “three strikes and you’re out” card, I’d like to turn the tables and highlight what one man did to make me say…”he did three things perfectly, and I want to get to know him.”

Last weekend, I went to a hockey game with one of the few friends I have in my new city. I met a bunch of “friends of friends”, and hit it off with the whole group. It seems though, that I sparked the interest of one person in particular. The man slipped a piece of paper with his name and number to a friend of mine & asked her to pass it along. Kind of 7th grade-ish, but…no harm, no foul. On that paper, he did crack a joke at the fact that I’d been calling him by the wrong name all day, which was charming, showing he has a good sense of humor. Cheer number one for him: proactively give me your number & put me in the driver’s seat. I liked that. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

Male Holiday Gift Guide: Pistol Pete Slate Trunk

A model wearing the Pistol Pete Slate Trunk

Remember when you were a kid, and your parents got you clothing for the holidays? It was that disappointed, “oh no, clothing” feeling. Now, older, I’m thrilled to get a pair of nice comfortable underwear from someone that I’m dated. Yes, I’m being very serious, although it shouldn’t be the only gift. When I was asked to review the Pistol Pete Slate Trunk as a male holiday gift, by MensUnderwareStore, I thought it would be a great companion to the Diesel Brandon Sweatshirt. After trying on the trunks, I came away with that same disappointed, “oh no, clothing” feeling from childhood. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

Maybe I’m Not Ready… Yet

View of an Airplane Runway, ready for takeoff

Someone said to me, “You’re not ready for a relationship, focus, finish the stuff you want to finish, and then meet someone.” My first reaction was, “of course I’m ready, I’m ready for anything!” The reality is, the comment holds more weight than I would like to recognize. I had a lovely 8 month relationship with one woman, there are a few things to recognize in my life. I’m not ready for a long-term relationship, right now. Obviously if the perfect person comes along, the situation changes, but at this very moment I need focus on many other things.

Namely myself. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

Male Holiday Gift Guide: Sexual Sugar Daddy Fragrance

Michel Germain Sexual Sugar Daddy Fragrance

About a month ago, I was given the opportunity to try out Michel Germain’s Séxüal Sugar Daddy fragrance. Michel Germain claims that this fragrance guarantees Hugs & Kisses, or your money will be refunded. I was skeptical, but, if the product guarantee was true I would need a large stick to fend off the horde of women; that was a risk I was willing to take. Over the last month I’ve experimented with the fragrance by including it in my daily routine. I alternated wearing the fragrance during my day to day activities and events. The results were mixed, however, I can’t ignore there were some effects when I wore the fragrance. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

A Guy in a Diesel Brandon Sweatshirt Black/Slate

When the holiday season almost to an end, there are some quick gifts you may need for a guy. Some of us are in need of a new sweatshirt, while others are fond of sweatshirts for the winter. While sweatshirts aren’t sexy, there are ways you can outfit them to fit with your outfit, by layering. Sometimes there’s a need for a snug, regular hooded sweatshirt that can be used for in home, out-door or casual wear use. The Diesel Brandon Sweatshirt fits these qualifications easily. Suck It Up and Get Over Them!

The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Easier said than done, getting over someone is possibly the hardest thing in the world to do. Holding onto the previous relationship, bringing past scenarios into new relationships, or not moving forward because of your previous relationship is quite detrimental. There’s an end to everything, including a relationship. While trying to get over someone is hard, in most cases you have to suck it up, and get over them. It’s not the end of the world that your previous relationship ended, it is the end of the world that your next relationship doesn’t begin.

You Are a Unique Snowflake, But Not Irreplaceable

Woman blowing snow from her hands

Everyone is unique, and all have distinct traits that make us unique individuals. Our personality, sense of style, looks, and preferences, all make us different from the person next to us. That doesn’t mean we’re not replaceable, especially when it comes to dating. After a breakup, guys are commonly told the next woman we date isn’t going to be better; that we’re leaving the best thing to happen to our lives; and that we will return. The fact is, many of us move on, don’t return and find someone better.

You may be an important milestone, and someone who we care about deeply; but you are also replaceable. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

Relationships Were Never Easy

A couple in a relationship conflict

Be honest, relationships aren’t easy. Every relationship requires hard work, compromises, and a willingness to work thru the problems that arise. The only time I remember any of my relationships being simple, easy, and perfect, was during high school. We could convince ourselves that our relationship with a person in our past was the best relationship in the world, and it should have never ended, but it did. If our previous relationships were so easy, and perfect, why aren’t we with that person now? [Read The Rest Of This Entry]

What Is Sexy? Rivals!

A Yankee and Red Sox couple

Today is an important day, my New York Jets face the hated New England Patriots for first place in the AFC East and playoff positioning. For those who don’t understand what language that last sentence is in, it’s football. I’m a huge sports fan, with football as my favorite sport, and the Jets as my favorite team! Along with being a sports fan, I’m very competitive and enjoy trash talking. Some of my favorite activities are having a drink with a good friend, who’s a fan of a rival sports team, and engaging in some good ol’ fashioned sports smack talk. It’s always in good humor and entertainment.

So how does this relate to being sexy? In the past I’ve highlighted that dating someone with contradictory tastes or opposing views, could be beneficial. A sports rival is the prime example of this sentiment. [Read The Rest Of This Entry]
